Jared Lopez, New Accounts Specialist for Next Generation Trust Services, LLC, will represent the firm at the National Real Estate Investment Association Conference in Seattle, Wash. The mid-year Leadership Conference, for members and leaders of real estate investment associations (REIAs) across the United States, will be held from June 21-23. Next Generation Trust Services , based in Roseland, N.J., is a third-party administrator of self-directed IRAs and is a member of seven REIAs throughout New York and New Jersey.

Real Estate Investment Associations provide networking, business-building, legislation leadership, and education. In general, these associations and investment clubs are chapters of the National Real Estate Investment Association and serve individual real estate investors and related businesses.

Real estate investments comprise a large portion of the assets in many of their clients’ self-directed IRAs, and many investors are learning more about self-direction as a retirement strategy. Therefore, Next Generation Trust Services supports REIAs strongly, with membership in: Long Island Real Estate Investors Association, Real Estate Investors Association of New York (REIA NYC), Metropolitan REIA, New Jersey Real Estate Investors Club, Tri-State Mixer Northern New Jersey, Tri-State Mixer Central New Jersey, and East Coast REIA.

“It is important that we attend and exhibit at the REIA conference to keep our pulse on the real estate investment industry,” said Lopez. “We provide guidance to our clients and their advisers about the many nontraditional assets allowed within self-directed IRAs, so it is important to stay abreast of trends in real estate and to share new investment strategies with conference attendees.” Next Generation Trust Services will have a table in the seminar room; attendees are invited to speak with Lopez to learn more about the many options and benefits of real estate investments within self-directed IRAs, as part of their overall leadership development within this sector.

Next Generation Trust Services provides free presentations year ‘round to members of REIAs in New York and New Jersey, about the various types of tax-advantaged real estate investments—both residential and commercial—allowed in self-directed IRAs. Self-directed IRA owners make all their own investment decisions based on what they already know and understand; they may also invest in hedge funds, precious metals, commercial paper, private placements, unsecured loans, mortgages, and many more alternative investments. The firm provides comprehensive account management and transaction support services to its clients, for every type of retirement account.
